Bishop, Winter 16/17 Photofeature
Bishop is a small town nestled against California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. To climbers it is best known for the proximity of several excellent climbing areas, The golden granite of the highball Buttermilks, the welded tuff of the Happy and Sad boulders and the sport climbing of Owens river gorge.
thecircuitclimbing.com recently visited this iconic destination only to be hit by several “Once in 10 year” storms in a row. We did manage to salvage enough climbable days though to put together this little photo feature showcasing a little of what the area has to offer.
